Fine French, 8 glass polished brass Mantle clock (Circa 1900)


   This highly polished brass, eight glass clock, has an eight day French movement striking the hours and half hours on a blued steel gong, the enamelled dial having roman numerals with hollow moon shaped hands and a fast / slow adjuster positioned at twelve-o-clock, is driven by a twin, mercury file pendulum.
   All the glass panels are a substantial gauge, bevel edged and are housed in the eight sections of the polished cast brass case

   This clock has been fully restored throughout by the following method, stripped down completely, degreased and then highly polished and professionally lacquered, and reassembled.

   Access door’s are to the front and rear of the case with a small brass knob to each.

The above item has been fully restored and carries a twelve month guarantee.
