An unusual Library Wall Clock of large proportions, the polished Ebony case has a glazed opening door to trunk, showing brass bob pendulum suspended by a steel rod.
The white enamel 17" dial (22" to outside of wooden bezel") signed by the retailers "H L Brown" 71 Market Place Sheffield, has a heavy polished cast brass bezel with inner sight ring and brass counterbalanced hands.
At the bottom of the case is a plaque which reads "Presented by H L Brown to Channing Hall"
The movement is a quality engineered Chain Fusee Movement of eight day duration, overall height 46" (1169 mm).
The above item has been sympathetically restored and carries a 12 month guarantee.
