Clock Movement Restoration Services

You don't have to be an ardent horologist to enjoy the finer points of an excellent clock, but what is important, is that if you do have your clock case and or dial restored, serious consideration should be given in having the movement cleaned, serviced or fully restored at the same time, even the clock hands could be of the wrong type or period for the clock that you have, all of the above will then ensure that the mechanics of the clock are in good working order.

True this will be an extra burden to the pocket, but it will without doubt add enormous value to the Item now and for the future which would otherwise be depreciating and not increasing it as it should be.

Having the mechanism checked and if necessary restored to its former glory, it too along with the case/dial etc, will then give hours of enjoyment and satisfaction to all who will have the pleasure of seeing it for many years to come.

If you care to take a look at the gallery pictures below you will also see the modern machinery and equipment which we use in our own workshops in order to deal with some of the repairs that we frequently come across.

Overall there's nothing much that cannot be tackled in the way of manufacture or repair to most clocks.

Not all movements are as sophisticated, or as elaborate as some of the items shown here, but when they have all been thoroughly cleaned, checked and had all parts tested, they are then good to go for another life time's use and admiration.

In the Gallery below, you will see pictures of various English clock movements that have been restored.
